ABOUT CAROLINA
My name is Carolina Grunér and I am a self-taught intuitive painter from Finland. I have been painting pretty much full time since January 2013, when I, after seeing my life as I knew it fall apart, decided to trust the unknown, and jump into a life where I dared follow the path of my heart.
When painting, I trust the guidance of my intuition completely. This means that I never really know what I am going to do when I begin.
I simply follow the whispers of my intuition, keeping my focus on trusting, surrendering and on feeling where I am guided to go. Painting like this is my way of surrendering to something bigger than myself. Of letting it speak through me. Each painting is its own practice in learning to trust the process of life and of allowing the colours to become landscapes of the soul.
I hope that being here brings you a sense of comfort, light, love and even possibly connection to that something, bigger than ourselves, as this is what painting has given me over and over again. My safe place in life.
